Press & Appearances
Events:
January 7, 2010 : “Strange” - A part of the Seattle Artwalk featuring Eliza Gauger, Carl Faulker, myself and others.
Explanation: Carl recently informed me that the show is a one-day only event, and kindly gave me the option to opt out. As much as I would have loved to have shown, the shipping, or flight and hotel would have been a big expense for a one day tun.
Location:
Studio X17
The 619 western Building
Fourth Floor South

January 9, 2010 - February 1, 2010Jan 9, 7:00PM - 11:00PM) : “Lift Off” - Take flight with an imaginative roster of artists presenting their vision of lighter-than-air aircrafts through concept work, original paintings, and sculpture. Gallery Nucleus 210 East Main St, Alhambra CA 91801
February 6th thru 13th 2010: Modofly exhibit: “Secret Language” at The Genuine Artikle: Bethalynne Bajema and I, along with 20 other Modofly artists (soon to be named here) will be exhibiting original works made from our Modoskine journals and sketchbooks, as well as other original art at the Genuine Artikle in Long Island, NY.
(cancelled)
November 13th thru 15th 2009: WindyCon: Steampunk Convention in Lombard Illinois. Bethalynne Bajema and I are planing to *at least* attend. We would love to be a part of the convention, but that relies on whether or not tables are available when we are ready to purchase space.
October 23rd thru 25th 2009: SteamCon: Steampunk Convention in Seattle Washington. Bethalynne Bajema and I will have originals, giclees, and prints available there this year in the art show and print shoppe. Our exhibits will be curated by A wonderful artist and friend: Sarah Dungan
February 6-8 2009: Templecon: A sort of steampunk, RPG, and gaming convention in Providence RI. Bethalynne Bajema and I were supposed to be there as “Official Special Guests of Ultimate and Unquestionable Honor”. Xymon was a beyond awesome person in offering this to us, and we really wish we could have made it. The worst sort of emergency came up, the type that involved animals - i.e. those who could not have just helped themselves without us. We really wish we had made it out there, hopefully we will next year.
February 9th - 15th 2009: Art showing (also featuring Bethalynne Bajema) at Genuine Artikle Gallery in NYC, NY. “Home Tweet Home”. We presented our own weird breed of spooky birdhouses for this show by mail. From what we hear, the show was a big success. Perhaps we can be physically present at the next.
Recent Features:
Check out Gatehouse Gazette (Issues 8 and 10) and Beneath Ceasless Skies for now (my most recent magazine covers) - I am still trying to make time to work on this section.
Interviews:
Innsmouth Free Press, Weird Tales Magazine, 69 Flavors of Paranoia, Dark Roasted Blend, io9, and Kilter Magazine (printed edition) have been the most recent features and interviews. Again, I’ll need to get back to this soon.
