The original was drawn in pen and ink on 11x14 inch Bristol Board, I did the coloring with my 4-year old Adesso drawing tablet so as to preserve the pen and ink original. The Black and White version is the Cover for Gatehouse Gazette #14, my third cover for them. I am making only 20 of these full-sized giclees. Total size with 1" border is about 13x16 inches. They are printed on cotton-weave fine art rag paper in archival pigment inks for the sort of superior clarity and color quality expected from a giclee print. All giclees are pencil-signed, numbered, and dated, all in tiny handwriting, in the margin.

It was requested that I make prints of this piece - so, I am making 20 of each on fine art rag paper, signed, numbered, and dated tiny in the margin. They are printed on a fine cotton rag paper, in archival pigment inks for an archival rating of 200+ years. The print is 8.5x11 inches including the 1 inch border. Printed area is 6.5 inches by 9. The Assemblage this comes from is a sort of dark carnival and Miskatonic feeling piece, made to feel much like all the occult ephemera of the late 1800s/early 1900s, a time when mysticism was for city-dwellers was becoming quite the fashion - though I often pull from real references when making these sorts of pieces, I do not imply that they have any actual magickal properties or serious reference value. They are more "camp" for fans of the ooky-spooky.

This artwork is three in one. The box/dual frame: I labored hard for well-over a week on the box, which is a very sturdy hand-built, hand-stained, hand-varnished, hand-waxed chunk of quality hardwood (heartwood select pine base and birch sides). It not only serves as a box (if you would want to use it as such a thing), but as a self-contained double frame fr both of the enclosed artworks ("Red Right Hand" and "Weaving Spiders Come Not Here") which requires no wall hanging. The box has two decorative hinges with a decorative patina on the spine edge if it; The latching mechanism is self-made from another smaller version of these hinges, combined with three solid brass model cannons from a model ship. The latch holds the piece securely shut, but opens easily when you want it to with a slight squeeze of the box and an easy flip of the thumb. There is a *lot* more to say about this piece, and a LOT more images of this work to see. The original was painted on a wood panel cabinet I hand-made for the purpose of doing this painting. It was lovingly, carefully scanned for truest color and detail, and printed as a giclee for the best, most highly-detailed and most brilliant reproduction quality. These are printed 12x18 (the original size of the work) on Canvas (for the optimal standard framing size), in archival pigment inks on 200+ year archival quality heavyweight cotton canvas. Each is coated with a UV, moisture, and scratch-resistant coating for added longevity. 25 total will be printed. All giclees on Canvas are shipped stretched and mounted withing the US, or rolled everywhere else (but you can arrange to receive a stretched copy if you wish to work out additional shipping). Each is hand-signed, hand-numbered, and dated by Myke Amend. Each also comes with a certificate of authenticity. Both the artwork and the certificate have matching serialized holograms affixed to them (front of certificate, back of canvas) for added assurance and to protect the value of your print.

It was then that she began to wail, in a terrifying and unearthly tone; And it was then I realized that the sirens ringing loudly throughout the valley were not sirens at all, but the sound of other fleeing humans, their spirits trapped by the seeking lanterns of the floating leviathans above. Cloaked figures with ashen faces, bathed in crimson, floated through the surrounding brush, guided by the eerie signals of their human prey. I could barely summon the courage to whisper "I'm sorry", gazing horrified and heartbroken into Elizabeth's tear-filled eyes as I silently mouthed my regret, then ran stumbling into the darkness.

Their fingers and toes, were cinched together in sets of two by hand-sewn bits of a leathery material which I can only say most closely resembled human skin. The same I would say of their tight-fitting suits of alternating dark and light colored diamond-shaped patches. Their eyes were hidden behind crusted and blood-soaked screens within the eye-slats of their heavy bronze bird-like masks; One could only wonder how it was they managed to see, and see so well, in the darkness which had become theirs and theirs alone. These bloody harlequins were said to be servants of some ancient and un-namable horror, a master of the ocean coasts, and now lord of the night - his eyeless and tentacled visage drawn in blood and human entrails on the southerly faces of each and every building, of each and every mass-murdered town. The printed area of this print is just slightly over that, bringing out some of the intense detail, though remaining very close to the original size. The Sepia Stains Tarot is a complete tarot deck with original artwork for both the major and minor arcana by Bethalynne Bajema (and back of card art by Myke Amend) . The cards are roughly three by five inches in size and printed on lightweight but study card stock with a thin lamination. The deck comes in a hand made drawstring pouch made from embroidered Asian silk material. We're self publishing this deck so we do our own card trimming and putting the deck together as we get them from the printers. So please allow two to four weeks for delivery of this item. Even though we are self publishing, the decks are beautiful and very professional looking. We're quite proud of this project :) And as with all Etta Diem items if you're purchasing the tarot deck as a gift for someone we provide custom gift wrapping for a small additional fee. Engravings to be 8x10 on clayboard (archival tempered hardboard, coated in archival white clay, coated in India ink, with the image engraved onto the surface), done in a drypoint/needle technique, in a Dieselpunk style (think Metropolis, The Chrysler Building, etc.) I will begin these works on May 30th and will complete three per week until they are done. I have a current commission to wrap up, and a convention at the end of may to gear up for, thus the delay - but also the occasion for which I am offering these cheap commissions. I need to raise some hotel money. I will, if you give me a subject/object you would like an image of, do it in my own style as I think it would look best, and I'll do a great job of it. I cannot however, do incredibly specific scenes... there is a degree of specification and management where it is no longer art. This engraving was done as the cover for issue #8 of the GateHouse Gazette. It is 5x7 inches on Ampersand Art Clayboard Black. Framed in a solid wood fram hand-crafted by Myke Amend, total size Framed: 8x11.

Though small, these engravings are so incredibly detailed, that no web image could ever do them justice. Rest assured, this is a very fine piece of work, and very skillfully crafted.Properly matted and framed, it would make an excellent addition to any space.

These engravings are done on archival claybord - a thick, tempered archival hardboard layered with archival white clay and india ink, all acid-free. The archival rating on these pieces is 200+ years.

This is the scene as I first imagined it in my head: not the more-accurate representation out of the two images, but my favorite.

In the novel, the main character is rather un-phased by his flight; This however is a more dramatic piece, as I would imagine the reactions of the other children taken. I also used the demon of the scarier first-draft visage I imagined (in the book, the demons aren't meant to be so frightening).

So much did I love my memory of her, that I could not bear the thought of this thing she had become, starving for all of eternity in a stone casket with those who took her from me. With the ancient warding runes, I bound her within the confines of our ancestral cemetery, where she feasts every night on the marrow of my once-hallowed forebearers. Found carved into a mysterious black sheet of stone, this piece was found at the summit of a hidden volcano near an abandoned coastal town.

Another piece marked by Myke Amend, artificer. It is unnerving, disturbing - he seems to be just a few steps ahead of us, and at the very root of all these strange goings on. Though they were all done within the span of a couple of months, this is one of the very earliest of them all - This was, I think, my 5th such go at engraving.

I was stranded in an ice storm in deepest, darkest Missouri at the time - power was out almost statewide, weeks I in our region. I was reading whatever books were handy, and thinking of someone who was on the other side of 20 miles of fallen trees, darkness, and panicked people. These particular scene out of C.S. Lewis' Perelandra" struck an accord with me.

The original pen and ink has been colored in acrylic paint, scanned at 900 DPI in 48 bit color, and reproduced true to the original on paper nearly identical to that of the original piece.

Metallic prints have a *slight* metallic sheen underneath the ink, much like antique silver prints or tintypes would look like if they had colored inks in those days. The result is a brilliant image with a magnificent depth added by the slight under-reflection.

This is the fifth painting in the strange-fiction steampunk art series "Airships and Tentacles" wherein the works of, concepts of, and influences from Jules Verne and H.P. Lovecraft intermingle.

This one leans a lot more toward my old surreal style, with some elements of older paintings hidden within the sands, such as a sand-storm buried nautilus, and strange shells woven into the stone. The somewhat serene piece is offset and accented by a very active lightning field in the distant background - cages on chains float like balloons on the horizon, a strange sphynx guards the pass, and shadows become starry skies. There are many more hidden details within this piece, and I only outlined the more obvious ones - as with all my paintings, this is an image you can revisit many times of many days to find new and equally strange things within.

This is the scene as I first imagined it in my head: not the more-accurate representation out of the two images, but my favorite.

In the novel, the main character is rather un-phased by his flight; This however is a more dramatic piece, as I would imagine the reactions of the other children taken. I also used the demon of the scarier first-draft visage (in the book, the demons aren't meant to be so frightening).

This is the fifth painting in the strange-fiction steampunk art series "Airships and Tentacles" wherein the works of, concepts of, and influences from Jules Verne and H.P. Lovecraft intermingle.

This one leans a lot more towards my old surreal style, with some elements of older paintings hidden within the sands, such as a sand-storm buried nautilus, and strange shells woven into the stone. The somewhat serene piece is offset and accented by a very active lightning field in the distant background - cages on chains float like balloons on the horizon, a strange sphynx guards the pass, and shadows become starry skies. There are many more hidden details within this piece, and I only outlined the more obvious ones - as with all my paintings, this is an image you can revisit many times of many days to find new and equally strange things within.

These 50 metallic prints are printed in Epson Ultra Chrome k3 archival inks on high-quality heavyweight metallic stock, coated with a UV/scratch/moisture resistant protective layer, with an archival-rating at about 200+ years. They are hand-signed, and gallery-wrapped. They are documented with a signed and hologrammed and serialized certificates of authenticity from Hahnemuhle, with a matching hologram affixed to the work.

The printed area on this metallic print is 32x21 inches, made to match the size constraints of the 36x24 inch "the Rescue" Metallic prints and the 36x24 "the Machine" Metallic Prints. The limited run of metallics for "the Rescue" sold out in a week, which saddened me a bit because I didn't even get to keep one for myself and because felt a bit bad for the people who wanted them but couldn't get them. So, instead of a limited run of 20 + II, I am doing a Limited run of 50 for these.

** Damage notes. 2 of these prints were damaged in shipping to me. Each of their edges are only very slightly bent, in a 1.25 inch-long spot along the bottom-most edge, only 1/16th of an inch deep... practically unnoticeable, except to a very, very picky artist.

Framed, or even matted, these damages would be invisible, and vacuum-pressed in the mounting process, I am pretty sure the damage would disappear altogether. These are a part of the limited edition, and come certified, numbered, and serialized as the rest of the edition.

The printed area on this metallic print is 34x17 inches, made to match the size constraints of the 36x24 inch "the Rescue" Metallic prints. So, instead of a limited run of 20 + II, I am doing a Limited run of 50 for these.

So much did I love my memory of her, that I could not bear the thought of this thing she had become, starving for all of eternity in a stone casket with those who took her from me. With the ancient warding runes, I bound her within the confines of our ancestral cemetery, where she feasts every night on the marrow of my once-hallowed forebearers. Now, all that remains of my family - a lonely field of shattered bones and turned earth, and this sad and broken shell of a man, who will someday soon become her final meal; This, my penance, my payment, for the horror I have brought into the world.

This fine engraving depicts a rather Lovecraftian creature of the deep embracing a submersible craft, much like the Nautilus of Jules Verne's 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.

Atop the oceanic mountain in the far background rests an ancient and forgotten temple, marked at its entrance by the sigil of Dagon.

Though small, these engravings are so incredibly detailed, that no web image could ever do them justice. Rest assured, this is a very fine piece of work, and very skillfully crafted.Properly matted and framed, it would make an excellent addition to any space.
