The image for this piece is changed each year. Previous versions had less straps and buckles, different effects on the hair, etc… it is an ongoing evolving print. I wouldn’t go so far as to name it a “Limited Edition”, as there is no set number – but last year’s prints of this image will never again be available, nor the year prior, etc..

These pieces are more whimsical, for fun pieces which I may someday make little rhymes for and assemble into a book, despite that I have been urged to never, ever, rhyme again. They are painted on 5×7 canvas board in acrylic paint.

A clockwork mechanical cat rests in classic pose upon a rocker arm in a clocktower amidst turning gears and moving pistons. Inspired by the Cheshire cat of Alice in Wonderland, this is a very, very finely detailed piece, down to the ornamental plates of metal and intricately decorated gears. Slightly larger than the original 5×7 engraving to better showcase the extensive detail within this work.

Limited Edition of 20. This piece is printed on heavy archival 200-year high-bright point fine art rag paper in Epson Ultrachrome k3 archival pigment inks, and is signed, numbered, and dated by the artist.
This image is the only image where my “no later editions” rule does not apply, but later editions will not be like this edition.
The image for this piece is changed each year – I add new touches to it, work on it a little bit more – typically, but not always near New Year’s Eve.
